Rick Lindholm, Ph.D., President
Rick Lindholm has made a name for himself through a distinctive combination of academic discipline, dedication to absolute accuracy, and a real-world grounding in business that’s supported by a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Every project Rick touches involves research at some level. Yet thanks to him, the Lindholm team is not a standard research firm. Our data collection techniques are proven, statistically sound and timely. We put the data to work in myriad ways, many of which are innovative applications that employ proven and industry-accepted research methods. Rick delivers insight and direction obtained from statistically significant findings.
Rick’s academic accomplishments include completing two Ph.D. programs at the University of Chicago, writing his dissertation under the supervision of a 1993 Nobel laureate. He subsequently taught Finance at the University of Oregon’s business school, before leaving the classroom to pursue a career in research and data analysis.
His expertise in social science and economics form the foundation of the work he does today, which often segues into the realm of media planning and buying. The demographic detail Rick acquires is valuable when identifying the most effective contact points for a particular audience. His uncanny insights, impeccable tracking of trends, and unrelenting rigor of thought have earned him the reputation for being outstanding among his peers.
